'The Business of...' is a series of sector-specific thought leadership events organised by Marketing Leeds. Each debate has a different theme, with key national business leaders debating significant issues within that industry.

The events take the form of 'Question Time'-style debates featuring a panel of prominent figures in a specific sector, addressing an audience of business leaders drawn from the region. The aim is not only to encourage intellectual debate and thought leadership but also to raise the profile of the business strengths that Leeds has nationally and demonstrate the positive approach that the city has to handling current key business issues.

The most recent event in the series was The Business of Manufacturing which took place on 24th November 2011 at Leeds Valley Park.
