The Business of Security and Protection - 23rd April 2009
The debates were kicked off to a fantastic start with over 100 business people attending The Business of Security and Protection, which took place at the Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds. The debate was chaired by BBC Newsreader Matthew Amroliwala and featured a panel of experts, including Bruce Mann, senior terrorism advisor to the Prime Minister, Robert Wardle, former head of the Serious Fraud Office and David Crompton, Deputy Chief Constable of West Yorkshire Police.

The Business of Retail - 21st October 2009
Over 200 nationally-significant retailers and experts gathered at The Corn Exchange in Leeds for The Business of Retail, which focused on the future of fashion retailing. The debate featured panellist Mary Portas among other experts in the retail sector. The sector was heavily represented at the event, with attendees from national brands such as Freemans, JD Sports, Mamas&Papas and Marks&Spencer and nationally renowned Leeds-based independent boutiques including award-winning Azendi and No 15 Ltd.

The Business of Sport - 20th July 2010
The Business of Sport was held at the world-famous Elland Road stadium. Chaired by BBC reporter and sports advocate Harry Gration, the panel included Olympic athlete Dame Kelly Holmes; former Minister for Sport Richard Caborn; the Director of Sport England and the Chief Executive of Glasgow 2014. The benefits and challenges of hosting major sporting events, the potential impact of London 2012, and how sport could help Britain's economic recovery were all covered in the debate.

The Business of Digital - 11th November 2010
Presented in association with Leeds Media, The Business of Digital was one of the key events to take place as part of Leeds Digital Festival 2010. The lively debate featured a panel of international and national experts who provided opinion about future trends, advice on how businesses can bolster their bottom line by harnessing digital and technological advances and encouraged debate to celebrate the thriving digital sector in the city.

The Business of the Economy - 18th October 2011
Organised in association with DLA Piper, Financial Leeds and RSM Tenon, The Business of the Economy featured a panel of nationally signifacnt individuals who discussed how the UK can best respond to global financial turbulence, as well as how businesses can best prepare to meet current and future economic challenges.
